Locksmith Security Upgrade: Installation Of Keyed Alike 3 Star British Standard Cylinders

A customer contacted us in Camborne, requesting that we upgrade their euro cylinders that were currently installed, they also liked the idea of a single key being used and able to unlock all 3 locks for convenience.

What Type Of Lock? - 3 Star British Standard

When choosing a lock, you've got to remember that not all locks are equal - The locks we used were ABS Masters. They are high-security locks (TS007), certified with the British Kitemark and Sold Secure Diamond grade (the highest, most stringent security standards for cylinder locks),

They have:

• Active Snap Secure Technology: Sacrificial break-point technology locks the cylinder cam in place if the cylinder is attacked, preventing entry.

• Other Anti-Attack Features: Resists snapping, drilling, picking, and bumping

• Key Security: Supplied with a key control code card to restrict unauthorized key duplication.

• ABS offer a 10 Year Warranty

Your euro cylinder is the first line of defence when protecting your home. Multipoint locking on doors is only as secure as the euro cylinder. It doesn't matter how many locking points there are on the side of your door.

The Installation & Keyed Alike

Once we figured out the sizing of the previous cylinders they could easily be replaced. 3 new cylinders were installed - 1 on the front door and 2 on the set of double patio doors on the back of the property. They were all keyed alike meaning a single key could lock and unlock all 3 doors.
